DESCRIPTION:The 16th International Conference on Tetrapyrrole Photoreceptors of Photosynthetic Organisms (ICTPPO) will take place from August 24-27\, 2025\, at the University of Kaiserslautern\, Germany. This biennial conference brings together established and young scientists worldwide to discuss recent advances in tetrapyrrole photoreceptor research. The program will cover diverse topics including photoreceptor diversity\, light-harvesting complexes\, photosynthetic systems\, and B12-based photoreceptors\, with special emphasis on their biological functions and applications in biomedical and renewable energy fields. The conference particularly encourages participation from students\, early-career investigators\, and underrepresented groups\, offering a unique forum for young scientists to present their research and explore career opportunities.
