The organisers are pleased to announce the Iberian Plant Biology 2025 Congress (IPB-25), taking place in Murcia, Spain, from July 1–4, 2025. This event marks a special milestone as it celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Spanish Society of Plant Biology (SEBP) and the 19th Spanish-Portuguese Congress of Plant Biology.

Under the theme “Plants for a Sustainable World,” IPB-25 will bring together leading researchers, young scientists, and plant biology enthusiasts from across the Iberian Peninsula and beyond. The congress will explore plant function at all levels—from molecular to whole-plant—and discuss innovative solutions for a greener, more sustainable future in the face of climate change.
