1. Far-Red Photosynthesis: Investigating how cyanobacteria utilize far-red light and developing similar strategies in non-FarLip cyanobacteria and plants.
2. Non-Photochemical Quenching: Exploring the mechanisms of photoprotection in plants and algae, with a focus on the role of PsbS.
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
o A PhD student with a background in molecular biology.
o A PhD student with a strong multidisciplinary interest in working at the interface of chemistry, physics, and biology.
o A post-doc with a background in biochemistry and molecular biology, and experience in the transformation of plants or cyanobacteria.
